The equipment
Most laser hair removal sold in Madrid is 808 nm diode: a single wavelength. It works well on the hair that wavelength is designed for — thick, dark, at a given depth.
The problem is that a leg does not have one single type of hair. Our ENEKA PRO emits 755, 808, 940 and 1064 nm at the same time, so a single pass treats hair of different thickness and depth. The 1064 nm wavelength is the one that makes higher skin types treatable safely.

How the course works
Free consultation. We assess skin type, hair type and skin condition. No cost and no obligation.
A session plan. You leave with a realistic range of sessions and the spacing calendar for your areas.
Sessions. Parameters are adjusted at every visit according to how your hair is responding.
Maintenance. Once you reach the result, occasional top-up sessions keep it. The ENEKA PRO manufacturer recommends 8 to 12 sessions for a 70-85 % reduction in hair. This is a progressive, long-lasting reduction, not permanent removal: afterwards it is kept up with occasional top-up sessions.
Frequently asked questions
How many sessions will I need?
8 to 12 for a 70-85 % reduction, which is what the ENEKA PRO manufacturer recommends. The interval changes by area: face every 4 weeks, legs every 6 to 8. A full course of legs usually spans 12 to 16 months. It is a progressive, long-lasting reduction, not permanent removal.
Does it work on dark skin?
Yes. The 1064 nm wavelength penetrates with less absorption by the skin's melanin, which is what makes higher skin types treatable safely. We still work with more margin and lower power on darker skin, which is why the consultation is compulsory: the first thing we assess is your skin type.
Does it hurt?
You feel it. The handpiece cools the skin before, during and after each pulse, which makes the session very manageable, but it is not painless — especially in thick-hair areas like underarms, bikini and beard. Anyone telling you that you feel nothing is selling you something.
What do I need to do before and after?
Shave the day before or the same day. No waxing, epilating or tweezing for four weeks before: the laser needs the root intact. No cream, oil or fake tan on the day. Afterwards, 48 hours with no sauna, pool or gym, and high-factor sun protection on any exposed area throughout the course.
Can I have it done in summer?
Yes, as long as you do not arrive with sunburnt or freshly tanned skin, and you use high-factor protection between sessions. A recent tan forces us to lower the power and the session gives less. Starting in autumn is more convenient, but it is not compulsory.
Is it permanent?
No. No laser gives permanent hair removal. What it gives is a long-lasting reduction of 70 to 85 %, kept up afterwards with occasional top-up sessions. Any centre promising you permanent removal is promising something the technology does not do.
